University of New Brunswick – CIBC – UNB Indigenous Bursary

Founded in 1785, the University of New Brunswick (UNB) offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 60 disciplines and continuing education in a variety of fields, on our campuses in Fredericton and Saint John. UNB has among the best student-to-faculty ratios of Canada’s comprehensive universities.

The Mi’kmaq-Wolastoqey Centre at UNB helps Indigenous students with admission into UNB programs, assists with course selection, provides access to many student supports and services, and offers cultural growth, support, and teachings from its Elder-in-Residence.

CIBC – University of New Brunswick Indigenous Bursary

These Bursaries will be distributed annually to Indigenous students who are beginning an undergraduate degree program at the University of New Brunswick with demonstrated financial need for contribution up to the cost of tuition in an undergraduate degree program. Preference will be given to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration programs. First year students receiving the Bursary must have demonstrated successful academic performance with an average of 75%. Students receiving renewable support (for a maximum of four years) need to have a minimum 2.0 GPA or 75% average.
