Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac) is the largest single-line producer of high-quality kraft pulp in North America, operating in Alberta since 1993. In addition to making premium products, we are committed to safety, innovation, responsible forest management, strong environmental stewardship and being a good neighbour.

Our mill site is located within Treaty 6 territory, and our Forest Management Agreement (FMA) area is in Treaty 8 territory.  We work closely with Indigenous communities to build respectful, long-lasting relationships, and it is this ongoing engagement and consultation that helps to inform our forest management planning and operations activities.

Al-Pac supports initiatives focused on education, employment and training, and economic opportunities. This includes investment in educational awards, apprenticeship programs and long-term career growth.

Through continued collaboration with Indigenous communities throughout our FMA area and Northeastern Alberta, we strive to support shared opportunities and contribute positively to the places where our team members live and work.

Al-Pac Indigenous Student Bursary

This award is to be distributed to Indigenous students attending post-secondary institutions in Canada (e.g., universities, colleges and technical colleges), with demonstrated financial need for educational program costs (e.g., tuition, fees and books). Preference will be given to students located in Northeastern Alberta.
