Royal Bank Award in Memory of Beth Hamilton Bell

The Royal Bank Award in Memory of Beth Hamilton Bell was established by Mr. John Kim Bell when he was named the 1998 national recipient of the Royal Bank Award for Canadian Achievement, which carried a cash prize of $250,000. Mr. Bell donated $125,000 to establish a permanent endowment in his mother’s memory, the Royal Bank Award in Memory of Beth Hamilton Bell. The award is directed to individuals pursuing post-secondary education in creative writing or specializing in health education related to providing palliative care to terminal patients.
