Coeur Mining Inc.

Coeur Mining Inc. s a precious metals producer with operations and development projects in North America. The Rainy River and New Afton mines in Canada provide the company with its current production base, while the Cerro San Pedro mine in Mexico (which transitioned to residual leaching in 2016) remains part of its portfolio. In addition, the company holds a 100% interest in the Blackwater project located in Canada. The company is focused on responsible mining practices, with a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

Coeur Mining Indigenous Students Awards

Coeur Mining is committed to establishing relationships based on mutual benefit and active participation with its host communities to contribute to healthy and sustainable communities. The Coeur Mining Indigenous Students Awards distributes awards to Indigenous student(s) who are attending post-secondary institutions.

Awards Criteria

Awards Category: Post-Secondary
Deadlines: August 1, November 1, February 1
Program of Study: Preference will be given to students:
1) from communities local to Coeur Mining operations and projects;
2) pursuing studies in first preference – science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program, second preference – education, health and social work;
3) female students
If there are not eligible recipients in a given year, awards may be given to other students in consultation with Coeur Mining Inc.
