Canada Indigenous Student Award

These 2 Awards are based on academic performance and financial need as follows:

  1. To a student from an Indigenous community pursuing as undergraduate course in accounting, law or business studies at McGill University, Montreal, in the amount of $2,500.
  2. To a student from an Indigenous community pursuing a graduate course in a field related to mining, including engineering, science, technology & math at the University of Alberta, in the amount of $3,750.

Although demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors may also be considered such as involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole; and demonstrated academic merit and performance.
