St. Paul’s University College

St. Paul’s University College is one of four affiliated and federated institutions of the University of Waterloo. St. Paul’s is located adjacent to the main campus of Waterloo, and teaches courses in Human Rights, Canadian Studies, Indigenous Studies, Religious Studies and International Development. The College is home to the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre, the GreenHouse Social Impact Incubator and Discovery Lab and is highly regarded for providing a strong and close-knit residence community for 260 undergraduate and 80 graduate students per term.

Indigenous Student Award for Academic Achievement

These awards will be distributed annually to Indigenous students who are attending the University of Waterloo with demonstrated financial need and academic achievement. Preference will be given to students currently living, or who have previously lived at St. Paul’s, however, if there are no eligible recipients in a given year who have lived at St. Paul’s eligible students who have not lived at St. Paul’s will be considered.

Indigenous Student Award for Leadership and Service to Community

These awards will be distributed annually to Indigenous students who are attending the University of Waterloo with demonstrated financial need and academic achievement. Applicants must demonstrate leadership and/or service to community with a preference given to those who contribute on-campus through the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre and its outreach work, however, if there are no eligible recipients in a given year, students who demonstrate leadership and/or service to community in other ways will be considered.
