South Dundas Windfarm

EDP Renewables North America LLC (“EDPR NA”) and its subsidiaries develop, construct, own, and operate wind farms and solar parks throughout North America.  EDPR NA is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and operates more than 50 renewable energy projects, totaling more than 6 gigawatts of capacity.

EDP Renewables has offices in Toronto and Calgary and operates the 30 megawatt (MW) South Branch Wind Farm in Ontario, approximately 70 kilometers south of Ottawa.  In addition to powering thousands of Ontario homes with clean electricity each year, the wind farm provides economic benefits to Canadians through local job creation, payments to landowners and local governments, and an increase of money spent at businesses nearby the wind farm.  EDP Renewables is also pursuing the development of additional renewable energy projects throughout Canada in order to bring more clean, emission-free energy to the country.
