Paper Excellence

Paper Excellence is a diversified manufacturer of pulp and paper, including printing and writing, packaging, and specialty papers. We operate seven facilities in Canada producing over 2 million tonnes annually with a workforce of more than 2,400 employees. The fibre we use to produce our products is derived from well-managed, sustainable North American forests and 88% of our energy consumption comes from renewable resources.

Paper Excellence Award

This award will be distributed to Indigenous students who are attending post-secondary institutions in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, or Nova Scotia and are enrolled in forestry trades and/or apprenticeship programs.

Although demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors (such as involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole; and academic merit and performance) may also be considered.
