Grand River Agricultural Society

The Grand River Agricultural Society (GRAS) is a not-for-profit society, incorporated under the Agricultural and Horticultural Societies Act of Ontario and governed by a volunteer board of directors reporting to OMAFRA.

GRAS’s vision is to nourish people, animals and the planet which they do through their mission of supporting innovation, education, economic growth, and community enabling Agriculture and the Environment to thrive.

Grand River Agricultural Society Scholarship

This award is to be distributed to Indigenous students who are attending post­secondary institutions across Canada (i.e. College, University, technical college or apprenticeship program], as outlined within this agreement. Although demonstrated academic merit and performance will be the primary consideration, other factors may also be considered such as involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole.
