Peter Lukasiewicz/Gowling WLG Indigenous Bursary

The Peter Lukasiewicz/Gowling WLG Indigenous Bursary provides support to Indigenous students who are enrolled – or who will be enrolled – in accredited, post-secondary programs in Canada, with a preference to students studying law and justice.

Although demonstrated financial need is the award’s primary consideration, other factors may also be considered, including community service and academic achievement.

Peter Lukasiewicz

Peter Lukasiewicz is a member of the Board of Directors of Indspire. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP. The Peter Lukasiewicz/Gowling WLG Indigenous Bursary was established jointly by Peter and Gowling WLG on the occasion of Peter’s retirement as the CEO of Gowling WLG.
