Suncor Energy Foundation Apprenticeships, Skilled Trades and Technology (ASTT) Program

The Awards for the ASTT Program shall be distributed to Indigenous students who are enrolled, or will be enrolled, in qualified programs including general education diploma, diploma and certificate programs in oil and gas, trades and technology fields, applied diploma or degree programs, academic upgrading or preparation, pre-trades training, apprenticeship education programs and pre-employment training in Canada.

Deadlines: August 1, November 1, February 1
Program of Study: Preference to students who are enrolled or will be enrolled in programs in oil and gas, trades and technology fields, applied diploma or degree programs, academic upgrading or preparation, pre-trades training, apprenticeship education programs and pre-employment training in Canada.
Level of Study: Any
Indigenous Affiliation: Any


Suncor Energy Foundation Indigenous Awards

The Suncor Energy Foundation Indigenous Awards were created to assist First Nation, Inuit and Mรฉtis students who are pursuing post-secondary education in Canada, primarily in the areas of engineering, earth sciences, natural resource management, environmental studies and computer science.

Suncor Energy Foundation-Mel Benson Award

This Award is in honour of Mel Benson, the first Indigenous person to serve on the Suncor Energy Inc. Board of Directors and the longest serving board member of 21 years.
