Bachelor of Education Bursary

These awards will be distributed annually to Indigenous students who are attending post-secondary institutions (i.e. college, university, technical college, or apprenticeship program) who meet the award-specific criteria. Other selection criteria includes: academic performance, financial need, and community involvement.

Program of Study: Students must be accepted/enrolled in a Bachelor of Education Program at the University of Manitoba or the Integrated Education program at the University of Winnipeg

Indigenous Affiliation: Preference will be given to students from the following communities: Fox Lake Cree Nation, Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (Nelson House), Split Lake (Tataskweyak Cree Nation), War Lake First Nation, or York Factory First Nation, however, if there are no eligible recipients in a given year from these communities, students from Manitoba will be considered.

Business Administration Bursary

Certificate Program Awards are offered to students who are in an eligible one-year certificate program at a recognized educational institute.

Indigenous Affiliation: Preference will be given to students from the following communities: Fox Lake Cree Nation, Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (Nelson House), Split Lake (Tataskweyak Cree Nation), War Lake First Nation, or York Factory First Nation, however, if there are no eligible recipients in a given year from these communities, students from Manitoba will be considered.


First Year Business Bursary
