Founded in 1881, CP has been a vital link in the North American economy since those early days, and continues to play an essential role today.

Canadian Pacific is an operating company with direct links to eight major ports, including Vancouver and Montreal.  Based in Calgary, Alberta, CP is a Class 1 North American railway providing freight transportation services over a 12,500-mile network in Canada and the US.

CP is an equal opportunity employer committed to the principles of employment equity and inclusion.

Working with our Indigenous partners, CP sponsors and participates in a number of Indigenous events and initiatives.  As part of our community investment initiatives, we support many Indigenous-based non-profit organizations, including educational programs that support individuals entering the workforce.
