Canadian Nurses Foundation

The Canadian Nurses Foundation’s mission is to advance nursing knowledge and improve health care by providing scholarships, awards, and research grants to nurses and nursing students in Canada.

The Canadian Nurses Foundation supports world-class Canadian health care by raising funds to advance nursing knowledge and research, and by recognizing professional merit in Canada’s nurses. For over 50 years, we have helped nurses learn, investigate and advance nursing best practices. We improve the delivery of health care in Canada by investing in nursing excellence that drives better patient care.

These awards will be distributed to Indigenous nursing students who are attending post-secondary institutions (i.e. college or university programs) with demonstrated financial need for contribution to education costs and demonstrated academic merit and performance.
